When Ylihärmä ceased existing as an independent municipality, also the library disappeared. Thanks to the villages’ inhabitants, the village of Kangas has a new library that is called Kamarikirjasto. Kangas Kamarikirjasto opened 1.6.2009.

The Library

The library has over 4000 books, including some Swedish and English works. You can also find old books, magazines and different kinds of sound books and –cassettes. The library also has a computer, TV and video.
